We love coming away from a wedding with a great story-Andrea & Michael’s is just one. We drove to Connecticut and met Andrea at the salon in Danbury, then over to the hotel where Mike was prepping with all his buddies and family. Eventually Andrea set up shop right above Mike’s room, so it was fun keeping them away from sneaking peaks! Once Andrea headed to Candlewood Inn after finishing up make up and hair, Mike and his boys were able to hang out outside for a bit for some photos. Mike had on a custom designed suit with their initials and date stitched on the inside of the jacket, coupled by a family heirloom pocket watch (which he happens to be a big fan of). As we arrived to Candlewood, guests were arriving and greeting each other. The ceremony, originally slated to be outside by the lake, was being threatened by some clouds and rain. There was an opening in the clouds with some sunshine pouring out that we could see from a distance. It was up to Andrea, and she went with her gut (with help of a weather map) and the ushers had all the guests seated outside in no time! The ceremony was perfect with sweet speeches, vows and exchange of rings. Once they kissed and went inside along with all their guests, the rain came back. Perfect timing!! The rest of the night was lots of fun with delicious appetizers and cocktails, dancing (everyone seriously knows how to party!) with the help of Night Shift Entertainment, toasts and fun in the photobooth.
