We had a lot of fun shooting Stacia and Chet’s wedding this past March! They have such a positive energy and you could tell they just can’t get enough of each other. Before having their first look, Stacia got into her beautiful dress by Maggie Sottero at the W Hotel with her mom and best friends helping her with all the finishing touches. Chet got ready a few floors away with his family and Stacia’s dad and brother. Chet couldn’t wait to see Stacia, so we brought him to the terrace right outside her suite for their first look and gave the couple a few moments to soak it in with her bridal party and mom looking on.
Everyone piled into the stretch limousine and happily headed over to Central Park for some portraits before driving to the church for the ceremony. Once atSt. Ignatius of Loyola, the wedding was underway filled with lots of smiles and love. After the mass, the two newlyweds left in their vintage NYC yellow cab, sipping on champagne and stopping for a few quick photos. Cocktail hour quickly got started at The Loeb Boathouse Central Park with great music by Beat Train Street Productions and catering done by the venue: a delicious array of lobster, oysters and shrimp among drinks and hors d’oeuvres. The main room was beautifully lit and decorated with a view of the lake, bottles of limoncello and gorgeous flowers by Cress Floral Decorators. After a few touching speeches including a rap from the best man, lots of dancing and visiting with guests, Stacia and Chet capped their evening with some nighttime portraits by the fountain, just the two of them reveling in their new marriage and future life together.
